Cornelius is where the lake and the covenants meet. Between Antiquity, The Peninsula and the streets off Jetton, a large share of the work here happens on lots where access is tight and somebody has an opinion about the finish.
Access is the practical half. On a peninsula lot or a narrow Antiquity street, whether a truck can reach the pour changes the job more than the square footage does — wheelbarrowing concrete around a house is hours of labor that a chute does in minutes, and that difference shows up in the number.
The covenants are the other half. Pattern and color on a visible drive or a front walk are worth agreeing in writing before the pour. We would rather spend ten minutes on that than have a committee raise it afterwards.

Access decides the number
On a peninsula lot or a narrow Antiquity street, how the concrete reaches the pour matters more than how much of it there is.
Constrained-access pours. Where a truck chute cannot reach, concrete moves by hand. That is hours of labor on a job a chute finishes in minutes, and it is the single biggest reason two similar-looking driveways quote differently.
Clean and seal on older lake homes. A lot of Cornelius concrete is structurally fine and simply tired. Cleaning and sealing brings the color and depth back for a fraction of a replacement, and we will tell you when that is the honest answer.
Patios on tight rear gardens. Smaller outdoor spaces are where a stamped finish earns its money, because the surface is most of what you see.

Do you work in The Peninsula and Antiquity?
Yes, along with the streets off Jetton. Tight access and covenanted finishes are normal here.
Can a truck reach my driveway?
That is one of the first things we look at. Where a chute cannot reach, concrete has to be moved by hand, and that changes the labor more than the size of the slab does.
Do I need HOA approval?
Frequently in Cornelius, especially for a visible drive or a stamped finish. We give you the pattern and color in writing so it can go to the committee first.
Do I need a driveway permit?
