Concrete that outlives the argument.
Carolina Custom Concrete is a locally owned concrete contractor based in Huntersville, working the towns around Lake Norman and north into the Piedmont. The company is owned by Michael Klakulak.
We treat concrete as more than a way to cover ground. A driveway is the first thing anyone sees and the last thing most people think about until it fails; a patio is a room you happen to build outdoors. Both are worth getting right the first time, because the cost of getting it wrong is not the surface — it is doing the whole job again.
That is also why we will tell you when a job does not need us yet. An honest read on whether a slab can be repaired is worth more to us than one replacement we talked somebody into.

Our mission and creed.
This is the company's own statement of how it intends to work. It has been on their wall longer than it has been on this website.
Every member of the Carolina Custom Concrete team is committed to creating exceptionally functional, enjoyable and beautiful work while providing outstanding customer service. The passion and mission of our company is the Golden Rule — through our honesty, integrity, work ethic, and the manner in which we conduct ourselves daily.
What that looks like on a job site is fairly unglamorous: the street stays clear while the old slab is hauled out, you get told the schedule for your job rather than a general one, and the person who quoted the work is reachable while it is being done.

Carolina Custom Concrete is insured, and every estimate we give is free and written. We use SureCrete systems — WallStamp and WallSpray — for vertical overlay work.
You will notice this page does not carry a founding year, a project count, a star-rating badge with a number beside it, or a page of testimonials.
